Bug: Fix Slider Threshold
When adjusting the slider, the recommended builds don't always make sense. Case in point, if I set it at $1500, it builds a setup totaling $1456. However, bumping the slider down to $1490 does a complete rebuild, which totals $1399. I would expect the build shouldn't change until the slider is adjusted below $1456. When I continue to lower the slider, the build doesn't change all the way down to $1400.
1 voteThis should now be fixed, I’ve fiddled with some pricing borders/parts and cleared the cache. Due to the nature of the site, there will always be rather large jumps in builds being the sake of $10, but the behavior you described shouldn’t be occurring.

They’re already there! Don’t forget CPU coolers are only useful for overclocking, and overclocking isn’t worth it at the lower budgets.

Create an option to disregard rebates
I'd like to know what I'm going to pay up front. Rebates aren't always reliable, and sometimes I just don't want to bother with them.
1 voteMIRs are excluded now by default. Option possibly coming to re-enable them.

Work watts/amps into your formula
Just did a quick build for $1100 and it suggests a video card with more power requirements than the PSU can provide. The direct link for the video card shows a minimum of 600 W with 42 Amps on a single +12 Volt rail. At 80+ Certified, the 620 W PSU would not have nearly enough power.
LOVE this site though, this is really awesome.
1 voteActually if you are reading the manufacturers specifications, they massively overrate the requirements to make sure that you don’t put a ton of peripherals on and complain at them.
Also, efficiency doesn’t take away from the rated wattage as the rating is DC power, not AC. The 620W PSU will draw more than 620W from the wall.
620W will be plenty!

allow options for other operating systems.
I was wondering why the only Windows operating system available was Windows 8. It seems like a large number of people wish to stay with Windows 7, myself included.
1 voteThat would be because despite the anti-windows 8 circlejerking which often goes on on reddit, it is the superior OS in almost every way.
The only downside is that metro can be annoying. However there are third party applications to disable it if you want to install those!
No sense in paying the same amount for Windows 7 if you can get 8.
Please keep in mind that this shouldn’t be the extent of your research. Feel free to customise parts further based on your specific needs.

Offer other suggestions for parts.
I've done a few mock builds using this and it only seems to offer Gigabyte products for motherboard and GPU selections, NZXT for cases and PSU, and Crucial 8GB DIMMS for RAM.
1 voteThis is because of a mixture of things
a) Gigabyte make some very good motherboards at different price points. There are some other manufacturers thrown in at the low end but if Gigabyte have the best options for the money those are what will be recommended
b) The NZXT case is the cheapest and cases only get upgraded if nothing else can be. This means that you will see the source 210 a lot at the different price ranges
c) RAM is RAM. There is little to no difference to performance no matter which you pick so I choose the cheapest and recommend that.

typo
Hey man, i think it's a cool site. If i'm not mistaken in your build guide area where you are writing about what parts are chosen for what reasons, in the 4670k paragraph, in the last sentence you wrote 3570k by accident I believe.
1 voteHaha, this is now fixed. Thanks :)

Add Scrolling
Add the ability to Scroll up and down the page, I can't see past the power supply when there is a lot of stuff on screen, and yes I've checked it's not me.

more than 8gb ram
No matter how high I put the price, it tells me to get 8gb ram :-/
1 voteSorry for the delay in answering this. 16gb RAM is recommended at the very high end after everything else is already maxed.
RAM is something where 8gb for gaming is perfectly sufficient and a really nice sweet spot for that kind of use.

Adjust SSDs
840 pro isn't really worth the extra over standard sandforce drives
1 voteChanged to 120gb/240gb standard sandforce drives.

I noticed that when I try to remove the HDD it resets the case and PSU that I removed earlier.
I've tried various removal orders and I can't get all three to be gone at the same time.

Problem with PCPartPicker Link
If I select no HDD and either No Case, No PSU, or No Case And No PSU, the PCPartPicker link takes me to a 404 error page. Any other combination of these options seems to work fine.
