Allow people to choose to generate an AMD build.
This site seems EXTREMELY INTEL biased. I put the price at $400 and selected "I want to OC" It chose an Intel Pentium but never even had the option for AMD 860K or other AMD, inexpensive overclocker CPU.

Allow for different uses
This only really helps if you are building a pc for gaming, not video editing, general use, music performance or recording purposes

extend worldwide coverage
I think you should try to include other countries, such as my country (France), in the country options.

Different presets
While it may be obvious that most people here would be picking a computer for gaming, maybe have different build generators for different focuses. Say one would be gaming, one would be work, one would be production, one would be the most "secure"

non gaming pc builds
add ways for non gaming pc builds, like workstations or machines that could run as servers or content creating machines, and pcs that can combine them all each having different starting and ending price points. a mchine that can just browse the web can start lower than a server.

More option for parts in general
If I don't want, say, an intel CPU, it would be nice to make it possible to choose that. Or if you want your optical drive to be bluray, or if you want Radeon instead of GeForce.

Selectable system requirements
Would be great to be able to set priorities for output system. Not everyone is after a game focused machine.
Sometimes HDD is not a requirement, nor is a GPU that does anything fancy.

Fanboy Buttons
Should be able to choose Intel or AMD cpu and AMD or NVIDIA gpu build for these crazy fanboys who won't settle for a switch even though it might offer better performance in the end, stubborn buggers! :)

Remove OutletPC listings from your parts database
https://www.resellerratings.com/store/Outletpc
Outletpc.com has poor ratings overall, with more 1-star ratings than 5-star ratings. They might have marginally lower prices on some items, but with ratings that poor, customers are paying for lower price with a lack of customer service. You guys are better off recommending a different seller.

AMD vs Intel
Gamers love the brand war. Whether it's Sony vs Xbox, or Intel vs AMD, we choose our side. Give an option to select just the brands we want.

Custom "work" station
As much as I like gaming, I'm an engineering student and I'd like some tools that would suggest video cards and processors that are commonly use for applications such as solid modeling and somewhat compatible with most of Autodesk's software. While the market of certified parts for such software isnt very large, There are many parts that could do a decent job and not be certified.

Add an option for an Intel only build.
There should be an optional selection between an Intel or AMD build, and the configurator would work around that. Even better, it would be awesome to specify which processor one would like. It's possible to fit an i5 into a $550 build, but it doesn't show up on the parts list.
