Add an option for an Intel only build.
There should be an optional selection between an Intel or AMD build, and the configurator would work around that. Even better, it would be awesome to specify which processor one would like. It's possible to fit an i5 into a $550 build, but it doesn't show up on the parts list.

Low-profile builds
Make a separate generator for HT-PCs or those who just need small form-factors.

Remove more items from the list for carrying over items from past builds
Give the ability to remove RAM and GPU, so it's possible to see upgrade ideas

Brand preference
It's important for some people, such as people who don't want to support an anti free speech company like Intel.

Allow for sliders for video/etc performace
It would be nice to allow sliders for "importance" of various features... like if I want the hard drive space to be more important than video card

bios update fix
if the bios has to be updated before the motherboard will work with the CPU,, i suggest that you have the option to force a choice of a motherboard/cpu combo that will not need a bios update

Scaling with hardware
It would be great to be able to scale up or down the graphics card/ram/etc on an individual basis.
The build that was suggested looks great. But I do have a specific graphics card in mind that I would like to use. It would be cool if I could swap the suggested card with the one I have in mind, or even get an expanded list of a few other graphics card with similar capacity or price range.
Even though I set the budget to a given amount, it would be nice to see where I can push and pull…

Sli/Crossfire Buttons?
There could be optional SLI/Crossfire check boxes (2, 3, 4 way.) To go along with this, there could be preferred gpu companies (AMD/Nvidia.)

Add monitor/keyboard/mouse options
Maybe add an option for a compatible monitor that will have either the correct ports or maybe a refresh rate to match the build. Because this site services a lot of newcomers to the PC world, you could assume that many of them only own a laptop and will be needing monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

Allow more additional options
Love the site!!! This linked with PC Part Picker has helped immensely!
Would it be possible to choose some of the hardware you already want (i.e. a particular graphics card, a particular CPU) and then the site picks the remaining parts?
With myself, I knew I was going to buy a GTX 980 graphics card so only want suggestions for the remaining parts of the PC.
Thanks!
