Choose which parts you need
So, I'm looking to build a new PC in the near future, but I've already purchased a GTX 1070. My budget is still about $800 CDN, but obviously, I don't need to include a GPU in that price. So, if we could have the option to opt-out of individual parts (or fill in what parts we're starting with), that'd be pretty neat.

include builds for video editing
while the ability to build a gaming pc is a mainstream but still building a computer for video editing using consumer parts are a huge interest this days. i hope you will include this option and workstations as well. i know it's been said before but i'm just standing out for this point thank you

Include a checkbox for VR
VR is starting to become a consideration for new builds. Checking a box that I plan on playing with a Vive/Oculus could shave budget from other parts for a higher end graphics card compared to the rest of the build.

Additional Options: Include SSD and Remove HDD, Remove GPU
For desktop computer it would be better to have directly an option to include an SSD and remove the GPU and the HDD to make the computer faster for this task.
I know it's possible to edit the components, but having access to that directly before the generation of the computer build would be better and more user friendly.

Upgrade Map
Allow users to enter parts they already have, lock them in, then be able to use the price slider to see how much an upgrade would cost. The user would be able to easily see the available options based on the already-built-in compatibility tools you use to generate a new build.

build a generator for graphic design computers
Basically, I want to make a robust computer for photoshop, illustrating, audio editing, etc. Photoshop is the program that has really killed my computer.

Disappointed that I can't specify options for components
This tool doesn't allow me to specify what I need for components. For example, I need to specify a motherboard that has at least 6 SATA ports, but the build generated by your system doesn't allow me to change individual components.

Please update Aus picker
Most parts in $1000-$1200 are no longer manufactured and are extremely difficult to find.

Add some clarification on the Part Selection Guide
Only on one particular part that I, as a relative novice, didn't understand. In the paragraph beginning "The first thing you will want to consider..." you have "You can always turn ridiculous antialiasing settings on etc but I would say that a 390 is all you currently need."
I have no idea what a 390 is, and there's no 390 referenced anywhere else on the page! This website is so immensely helpful, this is just a small note to make it even better.
Thanks for reading :)
